HP buys EDS for 13.9B$

It’s reported that HP buys EDS for 13.9B$, 25$ per share. This is the one of the largest acquisition in the industry in recent years.

EDS is the 2nd largest vendor at IT service area with a yearly revenue of 22B$, while IBM is the largest one with 54B$ yearly revenue, and HP is the third one with 17B$. After this acquisition, HP will enhance its delivery capability and competitiveness against IBM.
