Google Talk vs Skype
I installed Google Talk and uninstalled it today. ie. I choose Skype instead of GT. Skype encrypts its traffic while GT not.

The main advantages of skype is:
1 encryption traffic
2 easy to use (installation, configuration, NAT/FW traverse…)
3 hard to block
the 3rd is bi-edge sword to users from enterprise networks.
